The Travel Story runs fixed-departure backpacking trips to India's most demanding and rewarding destinations like Ladakh, Spiti Valley, Zanskar, Kashmir, and Meghalaya. Every batch is a group of 12–20 people, aged 18–35, who show up as strangers and leave as something closer to family. You handle your travel to the starting point. We handle everything from there. Solo travellers: Every batch has people travelling alone. You'll be paired for accommodation, you'll move with the group, and you'll have a dedicated trip leader with you for the full duration. No awkward first nights in an unfamiliar city, no figuring out routes alone.
