Highlight

Vietnam is one of those countries that feels like from north to south is a completely different country. The delicacy keeps changing. The pace keeps changing and the landscape goes from tropical islands to ancient walled towns to limestone bays rising out of flat green water. This trip starts at the bottom and works its way up. Day 1 you land in Phu Quoc: Vietnam's largest island, sitting in the Gulf of Thailand. That evening, you're at Grand World, a entertainment strip built to look like Venice, watching Vietnam's biggest live cultural show under open sky. Day 2 you're on a boat, island-hopping between Hon May Rut and Hon Thom, snorkelling in clear water before the afternoon at Aquatopia Waterpark. Day 3 is Vinpearl Safari — where animals move freely through open land — and VinWonders, before an evening flight north to Da Nang. Da Nang is where the trip shifts gear. Mornings at My Khe Beach. Evenings in Hoi An, climbing into a round basket boat rowed through a coconut palm forest on the Thu Bon River, then walking Lantern Street after dark when the whole town glows orange and gold. The following day, up to Ba Na Hills which is 1,487 metres above sea level known for the famous Golden Hand Bridge and the toy train through a French colonial village built on a mountain. Final push north to Hanoi. Egg coffee at a Train Street café while a train passes close enough to rattle the table. Then the last full day on Halong Bay — a 5-6 hour cruise through 1,969 islands, kayaking through Luon Cave, climbing Ti Top Island, coming back at sunset with tea in hand. Eight days. Three cities. Two internal flights. One group that starts as strangers and ends the trip making plans for the next one.

Itinerary

Land at Phu Quoc Airport, meet the TTS team, check in, rest. In the evening, walk through Grand World — a waterfront entertainment zone with a Venice-style canal, gondola rides, a Teddy Bear Museum, shopping lanes, and live performances. The highlight: Tinh Hoa Viet Nam, Vietnam's largest live-action cultural show, performed outdoors. 500 performers. Real water. Worth staying up for. Overnight in Phu Quoc. After breakfast, board a boat for the 4 Island Tour — covering Hon May Rut, Hon Thom, and two surrounding islands. You'll snorkel, swim, and spend time on beaches that most tourists only see in photos. The cable car from An Thoi to Hon Thom is one of the longest non-stop cable car routes in the world — 8km over open ocean. Afternoon at Aquatopia Waterpark on Hon Thom Island before heading back. Morning at Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc — Vietnam's largest wildlife conservation park. Unlike standard zoos, animals here roam in open, zone-based habitats. Then VinWonders Phu Quoc for rides, themed zones, and live shows. Evening flight to Da Nang. Overnight in Da Nang. Meals: Breakfast | Stay: Da Nang

No early start today. Spend the morning at My Khe Beach — 30km of coastline, calm waves, and open sky. In the evening, drive 30 minutes to Hoi An. Start with a basket boat ride through the coconut palm forest on the Thu Bon River. Then walk the ancient town: Phung Hung houses built by Japanese merchants 300 years ago, CI 5/14 streets, the old port, and the covered market. After 6pm, Lantern Street lights up. Wander as long as you want. Meals: Breakfast | Stay: Da Nang

Leave by 7-8am. Take the cable car up to Marseille Station at 1,487 metres — the cable car itself holds a Guinness World Record for the longest single-wire cable car. The Golden Bridge comes first: a 150-metre pedestrian walkway held by two enormous stone hands emerging from the mountain. Then explore the Lunar Castle, ride the toy train through the French Village, and spend time in Fantasy Park. Come back down before clouds set in — Ba Na Hills is known for rapid weather changes. Early morning flight north to Hanoi. Check in, rest. At 5pm the group heads into Hanoi's Old Quarter — 36 streets, each once named after the trade practiced there. Walk Mural Street, find a seat at one of the Train Street cafés, and order egg coffee. The train passes close enough that café owners fold the tables inward to let it through. Spend time by Hoan Kiem Lake in the evening. Meals: Breakfast | Stay: Hanoi

Early transfer to Tuan Chau Harbor. Board the cruise. The bay has 1,969 limestone islands — UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. The day covers Surprising Cave (its internal formations are lit and enormous), Ti Top Island (climb the peak for a full panoramic view of the bay), kayaking or bamboo boating through Luon Cave, and a sunset return with tea or wine on deck.
