Most New Year trips peak once, at midnight, and it's downhill from there. This one peaks twice. The first five days are the Meghalaya circuit: Cherrapunji's roaring falls, the living Double Decker Root Bridge, Dawki's glass clear river, Mawlynnong's spotless lanes, and a last night, 31 December, back in Shillong, free for you to spend however loud or quiet you like. Then, on New Year's Day itself, instead of heading home, you drive straight into Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site holding two thirds of the world's one horned rhinos. Wake up on 2 January for a jeep safari through the grasslands, the actual first adventure of your new year, rhinos and wild elephants included, no resolutions required.Itinerary
Land in Guwahati before noon and our team meets you for the drive to Shillong, with lunch and a stop at Umiam Lake on the way. Evening is yours to explore Police Bazaar. Overnight stay in Shillong.
The drive takes in Elephant Falls, Dympep Valley View Point and Garden of Caves, ending at Nohkalikai Falls as evening light hits the gorge. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Trek from Tyrna Village to the Double Decker Root Bridge, then Rainbow Waterfall and Seven Sister Falls. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.
Arwah Caves in the morning, then the drive to Shnongpdeng via a viewpoint over the Bangladesh border, stopping at Mawlynnong along the way. Overnight stay in Shnongpdeng.
Morning boating on Dawki's Umngot river, then the drive back to Shillong with a stop at Phe Phe Waterfall. Back in Shillong by evening, dinner included as usual, and the night is yours: Police Bazaar's bars, Laitumkhrah's live music venues, or just watching the city welcome the new year from a rooftop. No fixed plan handed to you, since Shillong doesn't need one.
New Year's Day starts with a long, scenic drive out of the hills and down into the Brahmaputra valley. Check into your hotel on the edge of Kaziranga National Park and settle in for the night, resolutions optional, an early start ahead of you.
The first real adventure of your new year: an early jeep safari through Kaziranga's grasslands, home to two thirds of the world's one horned rhinoceros population, wild elephants, deer and some of India's highest tiger density. Afterwards, the drive back to Guwahati Airport for your flight home.

- Personal expenses: driver tips, entry fees to attractions not named in the itinerary, camera charges, river rafting, laundry, phone bills, and any spending during your free evening in Shillong on 31 December
- Any cost caused by landslides, roadblocks or other natural disruptions, payable on the spot
No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,
- If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

Well, it was my 1 st ever trip with strangers..I was so so scared as usual being a young girl how it would be, But I wanted to explore nd enjoy.. Honestly saying those people I met nd those memories I made , I wl cherish forever..???????? Arvind , our grp captain did his job very well..Hotels nd homestay were good, I enjoyed food also..Lunch we did from different places so that may have some different reviews..
