Most Vietnam New Year packages give you one city and one countdown. This one gives you four cities, two coastlines, and a New Year's Eve spent in the exact spot where Hanoi's own crowd gathers to count down, before the trip moves entirely south to end on a tropical island most people only associate with honeymoon photos.
You land in Hanoi, and by evening you're already sitting beside the Train Street tracks with an egg coffee while a train rattles past close enough to feel it. The next morning is a full day cruise through Ha Long Bay, limestone islands rising out of still water, a paddle into a hidden cave, and you're back in Hanoi's Old Quarter by dinner as the city counts down to midnight around you. From there the trip flies south fast, Da Nang's Golden Bridge held up by two giant stone hands, Hoi An's lantern lit river at dusk, and then Phu Quoc, where the pace changes completely, a wildlife safari, a cable car that runs out over open sea, and four uninhabited islands in a single day.
7 nights, 8 days, starting Rs 84,999 plus 5 percent GST, departing 30 December and returning 6 January, built for a fixed group of Indian travellers aged 18 to 35 who would rather ring in the New Year somewhere none of their friends back home are.
Itinerary
Land in Hanoi in the morning and head straight to your hotel in the city center to drop your bags. Once the sun starts to dip, around 5 PM, the actual trip begins with a walk through the Old Quarter, Mural Street first, then Train Street, where the cafes sit close enough to the tracks that you order an egg coffee and watch a train pass a few feet from your table. End the evening near the lake before heading back for the night.
Morning transfer to Tuan Chau Harbour for a full day cruise through Ha Long Bay. Over five to six hours, sail past the limestone islands the bay is known for worldwide, stop at Surprising Cave, and get time on Ti Top Island to swim or climb up for the view from the top. Kayak or take a bamboo boat through Luon Cave, then sunset tea or wine on deck as the boat heads back to harbour. By evening you're back in Hanoi, right where the city's own New Year's Eve crowd gathers around the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, so whatever you do with your last few hours of the year, you're doing it in the middle of it.
A short flight to Da Nang in the morning, then a few hours to rest before the day picks back up. In the evening, a basket boat ride through the Coconut Village, the round bamboo boats that spin and dip through the palms, before heading into Hoi An's ancient town, the old streets, the market, the ancient port, and if the timing works out, Hoi An at its best, lanterns lit up along the river in red, yellow, and pink.
An early start, around 7 to 8 AM, for Ba Na Hills. Cable car up to the hill station, then straight to the Golden Bridge, held up by two giant stone hands and one of the most photographed spots in the country. From there, Lunar Castle, a train ride to French Village, and an afternoon at Fantasy Park if you want the rides. Cable car back down in the evening.
Fly to Phu Quoc in the morning and check into your hotel for some proper rest, four flights and three cities in by this point. Evening is a walking tour of Grand World, a Venice style canal you can ride a boat through, the Teddy Bear Museum, and streets full of cafes and shopping. If the timing lines up, you'll also catch Tinh Hoa Viet Nam, a large scale live show covering Vietnamese history and tradition on an outdoor stage.
A full day at two of Phu Quoc's biggest attractions. Vinpearl Safari is Vietnam's largest wildlife conservation park, animals in open habitats rather than cages, built around actual conservation work rather than just a photo stop. From there, VinWonders for the rides, themed zones, and live shows.
A full day on the water, a four island tour covering spots like Hon May Rut and Hon Thom, with snorkelling and beach time built in, plus a ride on the Hon Thom cable car, one of the longest oversea cable car rides in the world, lunch included. In the afternoon, Aquatopia Water Park before your last night on the island.
A slow morning, breakfast, some last minute time before checkout, then the transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Packing for two climates in one trip
Hanoi and Halong Bay run cool in this window, especially early mornings on the cruise, so a light jacket is worth the space in your bag. Phu Quoc, being further south, stays warm through late December and early January. You are packing for both a cool north and a warm island on the same trip, layers are more useful here than any single heavy jacket.

No Refund shall be made with respect to the initial booking amount for any cancellations. However,
- If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the start date of the trip, 75% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
- In the case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be cancelled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
